invitation letter asked by chinese consulate pakistan for s1 visa

I want to visit my husband in china on s1 type i have completed all the requirements except invitation letter from university..university has given proof of student letter to my husband and saying they dont issue any NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE or invitation letter .they are saying ask embassy to contact us directly for any verification.What should i do now?And from where i can get this invitation letter?

Emaan, proof of student letter may work. Your husband can write an invitation letter to you on his own and then you can try to apply in the embassy.
