About:Hong Kong Visa Policy

My best friend (a canadian citizen with valid canadian passport)

is traveling to new zealand via hong kong. She has to stop over in hong kong on her way to new zealand. She has a criminal record in canada (nothing serious). Will this cause problems in her travels? I already checked new zealand laws. I am just worried about hing kong rules.

If she is just passing through HK on her way to and from NZ, will she need a visa?

I don’t think it will affect her trip. There is no need to worry. She doesn’t need a visa for HK either because Canadian passport holders can enjoy free entry to HK for a stay of not more than 90 days.
