About:China Visa

I hold a US passport and am flying to Kathmandu via Qingdao and Kunming.

It looks like we do will stop in Qingdao for 1.5 hrs but do not go through customs. There seems to be a plane change and an 14 hour forty minute stop at Kunming. Will I be eligible for the 72 hour visa-free transit policy?
Thank you,
J. S.

No, you don’t qualify for the 72 hour free transit as you will transit in both Qingdao and Kunming, but you can use the 24 hour direct transit.
