Hi, I'm picking a hotel for my 3 day stay in Kunming.

I have not done much research about the attractions so I don't really know where should I stay in. I'm looking at 2 hotels at the moment, one near Dongfeng Square and one near KM rail station. I am leaving to Dali by train after KM, which hotel should I choose? Or are there better locations?
