About:Exit Regulations of China

I have more than the allowed 5000 usd to bring out of China?

If I declare it first and I be allowed to take out more than the allowed usd 5000 from China?

According to the regulation, if the money does not exceed the amount you take in at the latest entry into China, the custom will let you go according to the record at the latest entry.
If there isn't the record, you should not take money more than USD10,000 or equivalent in any other currencies.
Thus it will be ok for you to bring 5000+USD out of China. But you should declare it at the custom.
