Hi,we are planning to go in October from Melbourne to Shanghai (with Cathay which also includes a transit for 1.30 hrs in HK), but then straight to Shanghai. Can I use the 144 hours free visa? We are going to HK after Shanghai, so we need to determine how many days we can stay in Shanghai.Thanks

You´re not eligible for the 144h twov as your route is HK - Shanghai - HK and this is not a transit.
