About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

We are flying from London to Tokyo the cruising with Celebrity around Japan

and Jeju and ending in Shanghai. We plan to stay for 3 nights in Shanghai. Can I get a 144 hour free transit in Shanghai? Lots of online information say this can now be done for UK citizens but on the Celebrity site it says we need a visa! Help and advice much appreciated.

Jean, if you will fly to a third country or region instead of the last one you come from after stooping in Shanghai, you will be able to use the 144 hour visa-free transit in Shanghai.
