i have to make a major career decision to make by 2/20/2018, dob 1/7/1962

Question

My current contract ends 2/20/18. Should I stay with the same employer and except a full time salaried position with benefits but a lot of hours, or a contract position that pays overtime but fewer benefits? Or change employers, if the opportunity arises? I am in technology, which I do enjoy. I've also been working on a new business, making a water based cooking product, should I focus more on that this year? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

To be honest, you should follow your heart. You should choose a career based on your interests first. No matter what you choose, you always have nice abilities to learn new things and adapt new environment. Besides, you can also listen to the suggestions from other family members or people around.
