About:Year of the Rat

DOB 09-Dec-84, I am forced to take major decision, might change my life completely.Need Help

my dob 09-Dec-84. I have been living & working in UK for 10 years. However, I need to move back (in 6 months time) to home country (south Asia) permanently due to unavoidable personal circumstances. I have been in strong financial position since last two years but after I go to home country my earning will be 10% from current if I opt to do job. Hence, I am planning to take a break for 6-8 months to follow my dream of becoming writer, whilst I support family thru savings (my spouse is housewife but planning to re-start career). This seems foolish decision to my other family members but my wife and I are very confident about this. Please help. Thank you
