Can I take hair dye into China?

I have a hair highlighting kit I would like to take to China with me, it contains powder hair bleach and 9% peroxide. Is this allowed? Not sure if I can take in my hold luggage on the plane either?

Generally speaking, you can take it. But you need to put it in your checked luggage.
