About:China Visa

I am us citizen traveling from US stopping Shanghai for 2 days

then traveling to Thailand for 1 week. I am then traveling from Thailand to Beijing staying for 4 days then returning to US Can I use the visa exemption?

Yeah, you can use the 144 hour visa-free transit in Shanghai and Beijing respectively.
