About:China Transit Visa

My mother is a philippine passport holder

and i booked her a flight from cebu (phils) to shanghai pu do (arrival time 835am thurs). Then shanghai (9pm thurs) to US. Total of 12 hrs lay over in China. Does she need a visa? Just making sure. Thank you.

Cristine, no, she doesn’t need it because she will be eligible for the 24 hour direct transit in Shanghai.
