About:China Student Visa

studying undergraduate course on work visa

Is there any law in Beijing that forbids foreigners with a work Z type to study an undergraduate program in China?

Jay, as I know, there is no such a law, but usually, you are not advised to do that to save unnecessary trouble. A student X type is needed for studying in China.
