About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

can I do a visa free travel between shanghai and Xian

arriving on a Saturday doing a day tour to Xian and then leave on the Friday on a cruise back to Australia.
we will be staying in shanghai for the six days please help.

You need a visa to travel like that. You can only transit in one city under the 144 hours rule.
