Hi we'll visit taiwan first week of march, any itinerary suggestion for a 5 day stay?

Hi, Wen! I’m glad to give you some rough suggeation!
Day 1: I guess you’ll fly to Taipei first. You can have a rest in your hotel, and then you can spend the time in Ximending. It’s a great place for local snacks and shopping.
Day 2&3: Take a train to Hualien: Chingshui Cliff - Taroko Gorge – Chisingtan.
Day 4: Take bus 1835 from Taipei West Station to Alishan.
Day 5: Take bus 788 from Taipei Station to Rueifang Station, and then transfer to bus 788/827 to Jiufen: the Old Street – Golden Waterfall.
