Can I go from Beijing to Shanghai while I'm in China?

I'm going to Thailand from Brazil, with one day stopover in Spain, then 5 days stopover in China, arriving in Beijing, then I will go to Thailand.
While in Beijing can I go to Shanghai during the 144 hours of visa-free?
Thanks

No, the 144h visa waive policy regulates that you can only travel in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei Province, excluding Shanghai.
