About:Entry Regulations of China

I want to bring from Malaysia to China for CNY gifts like dry scallope, sea cucumber and fish maw

Please advise me the rule and regulation with more details if I bring few boxes of dry scallope, sea cucumber, ginseng, fish maw and dry mushrooms. How to know any restricted at China's custom

Dried mushrooms, dried sea cucumber and dried scallope will be ok for you to bring. However, the fresh sea cucumber and fish maw are not allowed to enter the country.

In addition, I heard that you can only take dried ginseng for self-use. There's no specific limitation on dried ginseng according to China customs. But you need to declare to the customs and not bring too much.
