S2 visa for visit by father

Hi, I live in Shenzhen, and have a residence permit, (spouse), do not work or study in China, and married to a Chinese National for 6 years, and married under Chinese law.

I notice that your article states the following : 'S2 is issued to "Family members" of work Z and student X type holders'.

Is this category ONLY for Work (Z) and Study (X) types, or is it applicable to all residence permit holders ?
