About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

I am flying to Mongolia. My flight info is Kathmandu to Guangzhou 11:40a to 6:15p

then Guangzhou to Beijing 8p-11:15p. My flight to Mongolia departs at 9:30a the next morning.
Since I have more than one stop in China does that mean I can not get the free transit visa?
Thank you

Correct. You cannot. Guangzhou does not allow multi-stop transit in China.
