need to grab bags from transfer in beijing?

I checked bag in Qingdao, fly to PEK, then transfer to international which then goes to CANADA. I followed the international transfer signs. I did not pick up my bags before immigrantions. My bags should end up at my final destination, correct?

The luggages will be transferred to the final destination if you have had the luggage check-through service at Qingdao. If not, it is need to reclaim in PEK. May I know which airlines do you use? The transfer procedures may very a little anyway.
