Visit my sister in UK

Hi, I’m a Ghanaian studying in China and I want to visit my sister in the UK.
What are needed documents and requirements for visa application?

You need to provide school certificate, bank statement, an invitation letter from your sister, valid passport, and the application form, your residence permit in China, as well as other documents the consular officers consider necessary.

Should the invitation letter and bank statement from my sister be scanned copies or original hard copies?
And how do I fill an application form online?
