About:China Work Visa

I am inquiring into obtaining a work Z type to work as a teacher in China.

As an passport holder of India, I am told I am not eligible to apply for a work Z type as a teacher here now. Is this true? In addition they are only giving teaching visas to people from: US, Canada, Australia, UK, South Africa, New Zealand?

Usually, you should have at least bachelor degree and 2-year work experience. Native speakers can apply for work Z type as an English teacher.
