About:China Private Visit Visa

My sister have a China working visa and now i'm studying in China and july this year

i will graduate and my student X type will expired on july, Can my sister sent me an invitation to apply for S type? Thanks

She can write an invitation for you to apply for an S2 type.

how long usually i can stay in China using S1 type? can i apply s1 type in Beijing or i should go back to my country to apply? thanks

You can apply for a residence permit if you enter on an S1 type. The residence permit may be valid for one year and you can use it to exit and enter for multiple times within its validity. However, S1 type is not applicable to your situation.
You can go back to your home country to apply for an S2 type. Or try to convert the X type to an S2 type at the exit and entry administration of the local PSB within China, but the result cannot be assured.

Usually, it is valid for 6 months at most.
