About:Top 8 Reasons Why Your China Visa Gets Rejected

I have a return flight to USA from Laos.

I land in Kunming China 12:55 pm on feb. 2, 2018 with a 20.25 hour layover then connecting flight to from Kunming to Qingdao and Qingdao at 2:20pm feb. 3, 2018 to San Francisco’s. Overall I will be in China for 25.5 hours or so. I plan to just be at the airport only without leaving off airport premises. Do I need a visa? Will I encounter problems coming home without a visa?

Lisa, yes, you need to apply for a transit G type for that.

Thank you Stanley. If they decide to tour around for a few hours then return to the airport will it be a L type?
L type is good for touring and transit correct?
Sorry I have never been through this process before.

Usually, transit G type is okay. You can still go out of the airport for a visit on a transit G type.
