how to get 1 full soft sleeper room?

Hi, we are 2 couples wanted to travel from Beijing to Harbin by 2/28 midnight. Can we get 1 soft sleeper room?

I think the rail company says one can only buy one ticket by using the passport information.

You can hold 4 passports to get 4 tickets. It would be better if you can have these extra passports with you when traveling as well in order to collect all paper tickets out. Without collection, the railway system may think the passenger missed the ride already and thus sold the tickets again to other passengers. Still, there is a possibility that the train staff noticed that these extra beds are indeed empty and sold them again. This problem hardly happens, but there is still a possibility.Wish you a good luck!
