About:China Visa

We are flying from Sydney (Aust) to Beijing

where we will spend 3 days on organised tours with a local company, on the 4th day we are being picked up to fly to Xian (China) for a further overnight where we are to tour with a local tour group, we are then picked up to fly to Shanghai for 3 nights, taken around by a local guide each day prior to boarding our Cruise Ship on the 4th day for the trip back to Australia - Do we (2 of us) require a Chinese Visa?
