hi, we are going to visit beijing from 27th january to 3 rd feb.

Question

what will be the weather and pollution situation at that time? is it ok if we choose visit place individually(not optiing for tours)? will it be ok if we use public transport(subway) for our trip? We are going to stay in Tianan rega hotel what will  be the best option to use public transport/cab for visiting the places? and what are the apps we can use for cab and map?

It will be very cold and the AQI of most of the days are good. Remember to take your wool sweaters and down coat! As for visiting, of course you can arrange it yourself, Baidu Map or Amap may help you. As I know, your hotel is close to Tian’amen Square, walk west for about 10 minutes, you will get there. Then, walk north across the square, you will reach Forbidden City. Walk south across the square, you will get to Qianmen Street. Oh, if you want to Badaling Great Wall, you can take a taxi to Deshengmen within 15 minutes, and then catch bus 877 to Badaling.
