About:Baggage Allowance for Chinese Domestic Flights

Can I take dried mushrooms to China?

Mushrooms (which are scientifically neither plants nor animals) are not listed as prohibited items. I would like to take some dried local mushrooms as gift to Chinese friend. Is this ok?

You can bring them in the checked luggage. Besides, it's advised to declare them at the custom.
