About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

I’m traveling for lax to shanghi staying there 2 nights & than to Hong Kong 3 night

& when going back to lax we have a 3 hr layover in shanghi. Do I need a visa. I will only be gone for 5 days

No, you don’t need it because you can enjoy the 144 hour free transit in Shanghai.
