Is it easier and faster to exit the airport if we get a China Visa before arriving in Beijing?

Or is the 24 hour free transit visa easier and faster at the airport?

Surely it is easier and faster if you have a visa. If you want to take advantage of the free transit visa, you need to make the application upon your arrival at the airport. If there is a waiting line, it may take up your time.
