About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Do i need to apply for the 24 or 72 hour free transit in Xiamen if I am there for a lay over?

I am flying on Xiamen Airlines from LAX--XMN--Bkk. I have a 3 hour layover in Xiamen and I wanted to know if I need to apply for a visa or if I can go in free transit? Also what would the process be when at Xiamen airport for layovers?

Vic, no, you don’t need it because you can enjoy the 24 hour direct transit in Xiamen airport.
