How should I write an email to a Chinese person?

I am currently starting a company and would like to associate with a Chinese company. However, I dont know if I should take some cultural considerations before writing so I could get the best response. Any tips?

You can start the e-mail with calling someone directly by his/her job title or put it before his/her surname or full name. This is often used in the workplace and on more formal occasions. Here are examples: 'Manager Zhang', 'Director Wang'.

The Chinese are very polite when writing business emails. They will always start with a polite greeting that includes “How are you?” if they know the person, or “I hope you are well” if they don’t know the person that well. They will pay attention to proper spelling and proper punctuation, and they will never use acronyms such as “how r u?”
