How to go to Shantou from Guangzhou?

Does it means that I have to use Chaoshan or Chaoshan station? Is there any high speed train?

Yes, you need to take a bullettrain to Chaoshan Railway Station and it takes about 3h. After arrival, you can take a bus to Shantou within 1h.
