About:China Postal Service

My supplier in China is trying to send goods of total weight 43kg to me in Ghana.

He says the maximum weight China post quoted was 10kg .
My question is how do I get him to send the goods to me via Sea . Can china post please quote me the cost of 43kg so I can pay him ?

Well, your friend is right. The maximum weight via sea is 10kg. You need to divide the package into several parcels. For 10kg, it costs is around CNY 300 via surface mail.
