About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

is going to hong kong could be consider as exit?

hi, i have a double entry and have a 90-days duration of stay. I plan to go to Hong kong and back to China the same day is it possible to consider it as 1 entry eventhough I just stay in Hong kong for how many hours? please kindly advise. Thank you
