About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Free transit combined with single entry visa in China

I have a flight from Italy to shanghai on february 8, 2018 and in the same evening of the 8th I have another flight from Shanghai to Cambodia. After one week I will come back from Cambogia to Shanghai and planning to stay in Shanghai for one week more. Can I apply for a 72hrs free transit (first transit in shanghai) and for a single entry visa (for the rest of stay in Shanghai)? Thanks, Lucia

Hi Lucia, sure, this is no problem at all. I also did it just 1 week ago. Just go to the 144h transit counter in Shanghai on your first arrival and make sure that the officer will not stamp your visa. But if you tell him that that You apply for 144h transit he will also not do. Than you can use your visa for your second entry.
