I will be travelling from Hanoi, Vietnam to visit Zuojiang Huashan Rock Art (ZHRA) site at Ningming in April 2018.  I would like to know the following:1)  Are there any transport available from Pingxiang city at the Vietnam-China border to ZHRA site so that I do not need to travel to Nanning and back to Ningming again?2)  After visiting ZHRA site, are there any transport available from Ningming to Detian waterfall?3)  From the waterfall, how do I get to Honghe Hani Rice Terraces (HHRT) at Yuanyang county?4)  After visiting HHRT, are there any transport available from Yuanyang to Kunming city centre?

Yes, there are buses from Pingxiang directly to Ningming. You should it at Pingxiang Bus Service Station and it’s available from 7:10 to 18:00 with an interval of about 20 minutes. The fare is 10RMB and the duration is about 40 minutes. But no bus departs from Ningming to the Waterfall, you need to take a bus to Chongzuo first; then transfer to a bus to Detian. The fare is 25 and 35RMB; the duration is 1h 30 minutes and 2h. To the Rice Terraces, there is no direct bus. You need to take a bus to NN first, and it takes about 4h, 50RMB. Then, walk north for 2 minutes to NNRailway Station and take a bullet train to Kunming, It takes about 5 h and 262.5RMB for a second class seat, 420RMB for a first one. After arrival, take a taxi to Kunming South Bus Station and catch a bus to Yuanyang Nansha with a fare of 139RMB and it takes 5-6h. Then, catch a local bus or car to the Rice Terraces, it takes about 15RMB and about 1h.Back to Kunming, you can catch a returning bus and it takes nearly the same time and fare as the coming bus.
