About:Marriage Registration in China

As a Malaysian, what documents do I need to have notarized by my embassy here in China

I plan to marry a Chinese man in henan.
I am a Malaysian citizen.
Can i go National Registration Department, Malaysia, prove I'm single?
Do I need an affadavit?

Angelina, you need to get your single status certificate at the embassy.
Usually, the police station can issue the single status certificate.
