from thailand to beijing to usa

Hello!I will be flying from Thailand to PEKwith one ticket, then back home to USA on a separate ticket. Do I qualify for the 72 hours visa-free stop?Any help would be much appreciated!

Yes, you are qualified for the 72h visa-free transit. Separate tickets also will do as long as your seat has been confirmed.
