passport requirements

Question

I plan to arrive in China as a tourist on February 24, 2018 and leave March 3, 2018. My passport expires on August 30, 2018 so I will have the required 6 month left on my passport when I arrive but it will be less than 6months left on my passport when I leave. Will I be able to get the required visa or will I have to renew my passport first?

Lunardi, don’t worry. It is ok as long as your passport has a remaining validity when you apply for a tourist L type.
