About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

I have been given a visa until 8 Jan 2018

but the remarks state that I am permitted to stay until Feb 2. Does this mean I can stay in China until Feb 2?

May I know the duration of stay of your visa?
Here is an example: if the duration of stay is 30 days, even though its expiry date is Jan 10th, as long as you enter before Jan 10th, you can still stay in China for 30 days.
