About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

I am flying from sydney to guangzhou then to dalian then to icheon in Korea.

I het to guangzou at 17:35 and leave dalian at 8:10 the next morning
So I'll be in China just over 12hrs. Do I need visa in Sydney? Or can I get it in Guangzhou? Or it's not required at all?

You need a transit visa before you board your flight.

You cannot get a VOA in Guangzhou. You need it in your passport when you check-in at Sydney, or else you will be denied boarding.
