About:China Work Visa

Is it possible for accompanying spouse to obtain employment in Shanghai

I will be relocating to Shanghai with my husband so will be obtaining residents permit through his company. I am hoping to find work as a Preschool teacher as that is what I do here in the USA. Will I need to obtain my own work visa or will his entry cover both of us? I am concerned because I see requirements are minimum of Bachelors degree which i do not have, merely a Child development diploma and 14 years of experience. Will I be permitted to work?

You need to obtain your own work Z type if you want to work in China. Sometimes, the requirement is not absolute. Just give it a try.
