About:Shenzhen Metro Line 4 (Longhua Line)

Airport to People's square during 4hr layover?

I have a 4hr layover (LAX to Okinawa) and would love to take the Maglev train to People square...
One concern is the time needed to get back into the airport, security lines etc?
Also from the metro strop to the actual square, how far is it time wise ?
And is there a building we can go up to see the city?

Although your time is quie tight. Have a quick visit in downtown can be made through Maglev (8min) + subway (<15min) to Lujiazui. After getting off, you may go to the 118F sightseeing hall of Shanghai Center, the highest building in China, to see the whole city. If there is queue, Jin Mao Tower and Oriental Pearl TV Tower also will do. At last, make sure you get back to the airport at least 1.5h before departure.
