About:China Student Visa

X Visa Conversion to Z type - M type Conversion to Z type

Greetings,

If I've already taken the health check for the X1 type, can this be used for future health check for Z type (in the scenario where I get an offer)?

Also, if I'm on a M type, do I have to exit back to my home country and re-apply for a Z type?

James, usually, the health check may be valid for 6 months, so if you get an offer within 6 months, you may be able to use it for the work Z type application.
If you have an M type, you can still try to convert the M type to work Z type at the exit and entry administration of the local PSB.

Also, I guess the X2 visa is a similar situation as the M type in terms of conversion?
