About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

i am travelling to Vietnam from LAX with a stop in Guangzhou for 4 hours,

i have a Canadian passport and visa for vietnam, do i need a visa for china. My name is Richard Le Clerc from Canada

You do not need a visa if not clearing immigration in Guangzhou.
