About:Changchun Transportation

best location for accommodation in Changsha

please advise on the above as we will be spending our last night from FengHuang arriving CS in the evening, next day full shopping day to evening before taking a late night flight back. The best location should be easy to reach once we arrived from FengHuang (by speed train), near to shopping, evening easy to get in transport to head to airport - else please advise cost of taxi from town to airport is that's the best solution. Looking forward to hear from you

First of all, as I know, no bullet train is from Fenghuang to CS. You need to take a bus from the ancient town to Huaihua South first. It takes about 70 minutes and CNY60.
Then, you can catch a bullet train to CS South within 1h 40 minutes.

For shopping, you are suggested to stay near South Huangxing Rd Pedestrian Street. Hotels like Grand Hyatt in 36 Middle Xiangjiang Rd, Haifu Lijiang Hotel in 228 West Chengnan Rd and Home Inn in 170 West Renmin Rd are recommended.

Oh, you can take subway line 2 from the south train station to Wuyi Square, and walk south for 5 minutes to the street.

To the airport, you can take a tax, which takes about 40 minutes and CNY 80-90.
