About:Shanghai East Nanjing Road

Visiting Shanghai twice within a short period

Hi there,
Thank you for opening up this discussion forum. My question is simple: I would like to stay in Shanghai for under 144 hours, leave China, then return for 48 hours before taking a flight to another country - is it possible to apply for the transit visa twice in this short period of time?

For both trips, you can enjoy the 144h visa-free transit. You just need to apply for a stay permit at the airport after landing. No visa is required.
