Hong Kong Transit Visa for Myanmar citizen

Dear All,

Does anyone know if a Myanmar citizen needs a transit entry permit to fly from Mainland China via Hong Kong Airport to Myanmar? The passenger will not leave the airport only transit for 4 hours in the international transit area.

Yes, you need a HK transit entry permit for that.

Thank you, but I got a reply from the Hong Kong Immigration Department. Myanmar citizens can transit without a visa if not leaving the international departure area (direct transit). But thanks for your help.
