from hong kong to sanya

Hello we are arriving to Hong Kong on Jan. 17, 2018. Out destination is Hainan, what is the best way travel to SY from Hong Kong. Our plane arrives at HK at 5:50pm. Thanks Jennifer

You are suggested to take a flight there. As I know, there is only one direct flight at 11:15, and it takes about 1h 30 minutes. So you may have a rest at the airport and wait to next morning.Or you can take a connecting flight, which takes 8- 24h, and it leaves at 18:25, 18:40, 18:45, 19:15, 20:20, and 21:50.

Thanks Olivia, I'm looking another option, fly to Haikou from HK then rent a car and drive to SY, does anyone drove in Hainan Dao? What is the requirement to rent a car in China? Please share your experience driving in China. Thanks
